[Middle of the night. Marn is working. Yantantessera enters, carrying a dead mouse]
Marn: Tess, this really isn't the time.
[Yantantessera leaves, with mouse]
Marn: Oh dear. Maybe she meant it as a present and now she'll think I didn't want it. Tess?
[Yantantessera returns, with mouse. Marn sits on the floor]
Marn: It's a beautiful mouse. Thank you for showing me. What should I do with it now?
[Yantantessera demonstrates by biting into the mouse]
Marn: I like the crunching noises when you bite it. You're a really clever cat. Also, obviously, you're a very fierce cat who's good at catching mice.
[Yantantessera continues eating]
Marn: Okay, um, could you make sure to eat the *whole* mouse, so I don't have to pick the remains up and go outside to the bins?
[Yantantessera eats entire mouse except for the large intestine, which she leaves on the carpet, then wanders off]
Marn: Oh ffs.
