Triolet explaining my best times of day

I'm not at my best
when the morning is new;
when the sun's in the west
I'm not at my best;
and most of the rest
is a crappy time too.
I'm not at my best
when the morning is new.

Two thoughts

I heard a tale about a king
who leapt into a boxing ring:
his left was lacking in the fight;
he had the world's divinest right.

A cabin in some other land
is like the loving of the Lord;
Or so, at least, I understand:
the love of God is shed abroad.
