Tidying the house

This past weekend,
Fin has been away in another state,
visiting Amy and John.
Rio and Alex and I
have been working on tidying the house.
Just as fasting reminds you how grateful you are to have food,
so these few days without Fin
have reminded me how important she is in my life
and how much I miss her when one of us is away.
It will be so good to see her again.
